Today I’m thrilled to share “Drift Away”, my new single with Sinatic and the incredible Canadian vocalist Alanna Clarke. It’s a tender, late-night song about memory, release, and the quiet courage it takes to let go—built on warm pads, intertwined acoustic/electric guitars, and Alanna’s intimate, emotionally rich performance.

The story behind the song
“Drift Away” started as a minimalist sketch—just a few chords and a feeling. Working with Sinatic, we shaped it into a cinematic, slow-burning piece that leaves space for reflection. When Alanna added her voice, the heart of the song revealed itself: fragile but fearless, close-up and honest.
The sound
Expect a dreamy, atmospheric blend of chill-pop and indie electronic: subtle drum programming, layered harmonies, glowing synth textures, and guitar lines that thread through the mix like moonlight. It’s music for night drives, headphones, or those moments when you want the world to slow down for a few minutes.
