Biography
Thomas Lemmer is a German musician and producer whose work blends ambient, electronic, and cinematic influences into immersive soundscapes—warm harmonies, melodic clarity, and a late‑night sense of atmosphere.
Based in Germany, Thomas began his musical journey early with piano and classical studies, later spending several years focused on the church organ. As a self‑taught producer, he combines musicality with detailed sound design, always exploring new tools to translate emotion into texture, space, and movement.
Beyond his releases, Thomas is also the author of From Silence to Sound – Unlocking Creativity in Music Production (Routledge, 2026). The companion website fromsilencetosound.com provides updates and additional resources.
A key milestone was HOPE—his first album mixed in Dolby Atmos. Since then, immersive audio has remained an important part of his work, including Atmos releases such as DREAMSCAPES and ONE VISION (with Oine). HOPE and ONE VISION are also available on Blu-ray.
Chart and format highlights:
- STILL and ZERO GRAVITY reached Germany’s iTunes Electronic Top 10.
- PURE entered the Top 10 of the iTunes Electronic Charts in Switzerland and reached #2 in the official German Chill Out Charts.
- AMBITRONIC remained in the German Chill Out Charts Top 10 for 36 weeks.
- Selected titles are available on vinyl and CD, including AMBITRONIC, ONE VISION, and DREAMSCAPES.
Thomas’s catalog also includes remixes and reinterpretations by other artists, bringing his themes into different tempos and genres. He regularly collaborates with vocalists, including Lena Belgart (The Voice of Germany; backing vocalist on the TV show Sing meinen Song), Valeska Rautenberg, Naemi Joy, Richelle Claiborne, Tina Sona, Sabrina Vieweber, and Esther Esrah.
He has released collaborative albums with Andreas Bach (PULSE, NIGHT TRAVELLERS) and Christoph Sebastian Pabst (MEERBLICK, BERGBLICK). In 2024, he and Oine (Adrián Márquez) released ONE VISION—a remote collaboration that crosses electronic genres, features guest musicians, and is presented in Dolby Atmos. ONE VISION has surpassed 2 million streams on Spotify and is available on vinyl and CD.
His solo album DREAMSCAPES is a personal retreat—created for relaxation, meditation, and concentration, built on loop‑based harmonies and evolving detail. Mixed in Dolby Atmos (including binaural for headphones), it is also available on vinyl and CD.
In 2025, his track “Nocturnal Embrace” won the German Songwriting Award.
In addition, he—together with Oine and Electrix—received the award for Best Immersive Mix for their collaborative track “BERLIN.”
In 2026, Thomas Lemmer released MOMENTS IN STILLNESS, a special vinyl-only edition for Piano Day 2026, collecting his piano pieces, including “Nocturnal Embrace.”
Also in 2026, Thomas Lemmer & Sinatic released INFINITY, available in Dolby Atmos, on CD and vinyl, and via streaming and download. The project includes the music videos “Wind in the Wires,” “Silent Return,” and “Innocent (feat. Naemi Joy),” a cover version of Mike Oldfield’s classic “Innocent.”
Thomas is now preparing the release of DREAMSCAPES II, his next solo album, coming in August 2026 — a quiet, immersive continuation of the DREAMSCAPES world, shaped by light, stillness, memory, and reflection. The album will be available in Dolby Atmos, high-resolution audio, CD, and vinyl.
