The fifth and final single from DREAMSCAPES II is out now.
With “In the Fade of What Was,” the last step before the full album has arrived.
This piece feels like one of the most nostalgic and inward-looking moments of DREAMSCAPES II. Delicate piano and synth melodies move through soft ambient textures, warm tape-like noise, and a dreamlike atmosphere — quiet, fragile, and full of memory.
For me, “In the Fade of What Was” is about the feeling of something slowly disappearing, but not truly being gone. A memory, a light, a place, a person, a moment — fading at the edges, yet still glowing somewhere inside.
The release also includes all five advance singles from DREAMSCAPES II, so you can experience the journey so far while waiting for the full album:

DREAMSCAPES II will be released on August 7, 2026, in Dolby Atmos, high-resolution audio, vinyl, and CD. The immersive Dolby Atmos version was created together with Eric Horstmann, expanding the music into a wider, more spatial listening experience.
The visual world of the album is also deeply connected to the music. I created the artwork from original Polaroid photographs — including skies, clouds, abstract light, double exposures, and self-portraits.
