What an exhilarating event it was!
I had the honor of being invited by Genelec to participate in an artist listening session in Dolby Atmos at the Tonmeistertagung 2023 in Düsseldorf. Eric Horstmann, the regional business manager at Genelec and proprietor of Immersive Lab, presented my album, “HOPE”, in the Dolby Atmos format to an audience of professionals from the pro audio scene.
Attendees enjoyed immersing themselves in selected tracks from the album in this captivating audio format and engaging in a question-and-answer session. Eric, who expertly mixed the album in Dolby Atmos, handled technical inquiries while I addressed questions from an artistic perspective.
Eric is widely recognized as one of the most sought-after Dolby Atmos mix engineers in Germany, boasting extensive experience and a portfolio that includes mixing tracks for Robin Schulz, Rodrigues JR., Moderat, Dubfire, David Guetta, Helene Fischer, and numerous other artists. I am immensely grateful for the invitation to such an exclusive and thrilling event.
Furthermore, we had premieres for some tracks from my upcoming album, “One Vision”, which I co-produced with my friend Adrián Márquez, also known as Oine from Spain. It was an exciting moment, amplified by the opportunity to enjoy my music on Genelec’s breathtaking new high-end monitoring speakers, the 8381A.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Eric and Genelec for their gracious invitation, warm hospitality, and the invaluable feedback provided afterward. I also want to express a huge thank you to Dolby Deutschland for their support and for making it possible for me to experience my album in a Mercedes Benz equipped with a Dolby Atmos system.
I am thrilled that we produced my album, “HOPE”, in Dolby Atmos, and I eagerly anticipate presenting our new collaborative album, “ONE VISION”, with Oine in February 2024.
