I’m excited to share the release of a very special two-track single: “Nocturnal Embrace” and the brand-new “Variation by Oine.”
The original version of Nocturnal Embrace—a deeply intimate, piano-driven composition with graceful cello textures—has already made its mark. Earlier this year, the track received the German Songwriting Award 2024 in two categories, an incredible honor that recognized its emotional depth and musical storytelling.
Now, I’m thrilled to present this track in a completely new sonic dimension: for the first time, Nocturnal Embrace is available in Dolby Atmos, offering an immersive, spatial listening experience like never before. The mix was crafted by Eric Horstmann, one of the most renowned and award-winning Dolby Atmos mixers in Germany, and is now available on Apple Music, Tidal, and Amazon Music.
Alongside this new Atmos mix, the release includes a very personal and beautifully minimalist version:
“Variation by Oine.”
This reinterpretation by my longtime collaborator Oine is a live-recorded solo piano performance, capturing the core emotion of the original while expressing it through a fresh and intimate lens. With nothing but the piano, Oine reimagines the track with subtlety and warmth—delivering a version that speaks directly to the soul.
This two-track release is a celebration of both the song’s journey and its versatility—two distinct expressions of the same emotional core. Whether you prefer the cinematic richness of the original or the raw vulnerability of the piano variation, I hope both versions resonate with you.
