Sometimes, the most special pieces of music aren’t born from a plan—they come from a connection.
That’s exactly how my new single “In the Sky”, created together with Austrian producer Thomas Foster, came to life.

How it all began
Thomas Foster—internationally known for his music productions as Foster Kent and for his successful YouTube channel “Thomas Foster Musikproduktion”—first discovered my work in an ARD documentary. Curious and inspired, he invited me onto his podcast. What started as a conversation about sound aesthetics, emotion, and music production quickly evolved into something more: a shared desire to create music together.
From idea to sound
Shortly after our first talk, we began exchanging musical sketches. Thomas sent me an initial foundation of beats and harmonies. I instantly felt the potential and responded by sitting down at the piano to play a melody that would add emotional and cinematic depth. Within just a few days, a track emerged that felt effortless—like it was meant to float.

The sound of “In the Sky”
“In the Sky” blends our individual styles into something unique—merging ambient pop, chillout, and cinematic electronica. Gentle rhythms, atmospheric synths, and an emotional melodic arc create a soundscape designed for dreaming, letting go, and simply being present.
What makes this release even more special: It’s also available in Dolby Atmos (on Apple Music, Tidal, and Amazon Music).
The immersive mix was crafted by Eric Horstmann, one of Germany’s most renowned Dolby Atmos mixing engineers. With this spatial version, the music opens up in three dimensions—an experience you truly have to feel.

To bring this song to life visually, we created something truly special.
An eagle soars high above the world — across glowing skylines, vast oceans, and majestic mountains.
Shot entirely from a bird’s-eye view, this video captures the feeling of freedom and wonder that inspired the track.

“In the Sky” is more than just a track—it’s a creative moment shared between two musical souls, captured in sound. I hope it resonates with you the way the process resonated with us.
