“In the Quiet of What Was” is out now — the next single from my upcoming album DREAMSCAPES II.
It is one of the more delicate and inward-looking pieces on the album. Fragile piano and synth melodies are surrounded by soft ambient textures and slowly emerging layers. The music moves gently, almost hypnotically — not in a rush, but with a quiet sense of memory, stillness, and reflection.
For me, this track feels like looking back at something that has already passed, but still lives somewhere inside you. A quiet afterglow. A moment that remains.
This release also includes the previous DREAMSCAPES II singles: “A Sky of Light, A Symphony Unfolding,” “Weightless in a Sea of Light,” and “The Light That Carried Us Through.” I like the idea that you can now listen to these first pieces together as a small journey while waiting for the full album.
DREAMSCAPES II will be released on 7 August and continues the DREAMSCAPES world — shaped by light, stillness, memory, and reflection. The album will be available in Dolby Atmos, high-resolution audio, CD, and vinyl.
The album’s visual world is also very personal to me. The artwork is based on original Polaroid images I took myself, using soft colors, light, and abstraction to reflect the music’s emotional atmosphere.
